Logistics, Shipping & Transit Times
Sea freight lanes, air sample shipments, and port handling.
Air freight for pre-order samples takes 2–4 business days worldwide via DHL/FedEx. Commercial sea freight for compressed raw bales or palletized boxed items takes 14–25 days for European and Mediterranean ports, and 18–28 days for North American and Asian ports directly from Alexandria or Damietta.
Our primary sea freight loading ports are Port of Alexandria and Port of Damietta, which offer frequent container vessel sailings and optimal customs clearance. Air freight departs from Cairo International Airport (CAI).
Thanks to our precision hydraulic baling process, raw material loofahs are compressed without breaking fibers. A standard 40ft High Cube container holds between 55,000 to 75,000 whole loofahs depending on size grading (lengths 10cm to 60cm+), maximizing container utilization and reducing per-unit freight cost.

We primarily execute contracts under FOB (Free on Board, Alexandria/Damietta) and CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight to your destination port). We also support CFR and EXW upon buyer request.
Every Agro Village export shipment includes a full legal document set: (1) Official Commercial Invoice, (2) Packing List, (3) Bill of Lading (B/L), (4) Certificate of Origin authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce, and (5) Egyptian Central Administration of Plant Quarantine Phytosanitary Certificate.
Yes. 100% of our harvest is sun-dried, de-seeded, washed, and inspected prior to baling. Each container is officially fumigated and issued an authentic Phytosanitary Certificate, ensuring immediate clearance by USDA / APHIS, EU border control, and customs agencies without quarantine holds.

We support flexible orders. While full container loads (FCL 20ft/40ft HQ) provide the highest shipping cost efficiency, we gladly accommodate Less-than-Container Loads (LCL) and trial batches for verified distributors and new brand launches.
Yes! We provide complimentary product sample kits (raw bales, cut sponges, pads, and retail accessories) sent via DHL/FedEx Express directly to your corporate address within 2–4 business days.
Standard international wholesale terms are Telegraphic Transfer (T/T: 30% advance deposit upon contract confirmation, 70% against Bill of Lading copy) or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C at sight) for large container contracts.

Yes. Our facility manufactures custom shapes (back scrubbers, facial pads, loofah soap cushions, gloves with organic cotton or Egyptian flax backing) with custom branded woven labels, laser-engraved wooden handles, FSC-certified kraft packaging, and retail barcodes.
Standard custom production takes 7–14 working days following sample approval and packaging design sign-off, after which the shipment is loaded and dispatched immediately.
